Issuing a foreign-currency invoice

Enter a line with currency and rate and let the program calculate the equivalent in your base currency.

Steps

  1. 1

    Know your company currency

Your base currency is the one you chose at sign-up and it does not change after the first record. Amounts are kept in this currency.

  2. 2

    Turn on “Foreign-currency price”

On the invoice, tick the “Foreign-currency price” option on the relevant line.

  3. 3

    Currency, unit price and rate

Pick the currency and type the unit price in that currency and the rate. The equivalent in your base currency shows on the line. The last rate you used for that currency is suggested.

  4. 4

    Save

The invoice total is kept in your base currency. The program does not fetch the rate; you type it.
